Frequently Asked Questions
What file formats does Trckify support?
Trckify imports GPX and Slopes files and converts them to the FIT format, compatible with Garmin, Strava, DJI Mimo, DJI Studio, and other fitness platforms.
How do I add heart rate data?
Heart rate is added on iPhone. Tap the entry in History and then tap the heart button to import the values from Apple Health — they are matched to your track by timestamp. The updated track then syncs to your other devices via iCloud, so opening the same entry on Mac afterwards shows the heart rate too. If you are currently running Trckify on Mac, close it first and reopen after the iPhone merge so the Mac picks up the updated track from iCloud cleanly.
Is my data sent anywhere?
Not unless you ask for it. Recording and analysis happen locally on your device; recorded tracks never leave your devices. When you plan a route, the waypoints are sent — anonymously — to our routing server, which computes the path and stores nothing. The optional Strava and Concept2 Logbook integrations upload activities only after you connect the account and trigger an upload — manually or via the optional auto-upload switch. See our Privacy Policy for details.
How do I record on a Concept2 rowing erg?
Pair your PM5 monitor in Trckify's settings (Bluetooth), pick Indoor Rowing as the sport and start — Trckify records pace, stroke rate, power, splits, intervals and heart rate, and can program distance, time or interval workouts on the erg. Finished workouts can sync straight to your Concept2 Logbook.
Why does connecting to Strava fail?
Trckify currently runs on Strava's Standard API tier, which caps the number of athletes that can be connected at the same time. If connecting fails, all slots may be taken at the moment — we are working on extended access. Until then, exporting the FIT file and uploading it to Strava manually always works.
