iOS 1.5.2: Route Planning, Navigation & Best Times

So far, Trckify recorded where you went. Starting with 1.5.2, it also knows where you’re going.

Plan routes right in the app

Tap points on the map and Trckify snaps a route onto real roads and trails — powered by OpenStreetMap data on our own routing server. Pick the profile that matches your ride: road bike, trekking, gravel, MTB or on foot. You get the distance, an estimated time and a full elevation profile before you clip in.

Want a loop instead of an out-and-back? Flip on round trip and Trckify routes you back to the start — actively trying to avoid the roads you already rode.

Routes are editable after the fact: drag waypoints around, reorder them, extend the route. And planning is anonymous by design — the server sees the waypoints you tapped, no account, nothing stored.

Follow the line

Start a recording with a route active and the map becomes a navigator: a full-screen view with your route ahead, your track behind, turn hints (”↰ in 60 m”) and an off-route alert that speaks up when you drift — and stays quiet once you deliberately leave the plan.

Every route remembers your best time

Ride a route once and it lands in your route library. Ride it again and Trckify scores you automatically — coverage-checked, direction-aware, no buttons to press. The trophy next to each route shows your best time; every ride shows how much of the route it covered.

Your bike computer speaks GPX

Planned something nice? Share any route as a GPX file straight to Wahoo, Garmin & Co. — and GPX routes from friends or other apps import just as easily.

Plan big, ride light

The Mac version gets the same route planner on the big screen. Plan comfortably at your desk, then just grab your iPhone and ride — routes sync through your personal iCloud, like everything else in Trckify.

AirPods as a heart-rate source

Recording with just your iPhone? If you wear AirPods that measure heart rate, Trckify now uses them as a pulse source via Apple Health — no watch, no chest strap needed. (Watch and Bluetooth straps still take priority when present.)

Also in this release

  • Steadier live 500 m pace while rowing — the number no longer surges within each stroke
  • Correct calories on iOS 26 (no more double-counting against the system’s own estimate)
  • Sharper full-screen recording layout with bigger, glanceable metric tiles
  • Many smaller fixes and refinements

Trckify is a one-time purchase — iPhone, Apple Watch and Mac included. No subscription.
